Steamatic Bendigo is a family run business with husband and wife team Gareth and Siobhan Tawton at the helm. Despite studying accounting at Canberra University Gareth has spent the past 30 years in the textile cleaning industry as an owner of both drycleaning and commercial laundry plants. Siobhan trained originally as a chef in Ireland and has worked all over the world in the hospitality industry. Together they have built Pristine Drycleaners Bendigo into one of Australia’s largest and most successful regional drycleaners.

Gareth and Siobhan formed a working relationship with Steamatic in 2008, providing flood and fire restoration drycleaning. They jumped at the chance to buy the Bendigo franchise when it became available in 2011 and have enjoyed watching it grow under their guidance.

Steamatic Bendigo is the first true 24/7 emergency restoration and carpet cleaning business in Bendigo. They operate from a purpose built factory in Epsom employing 6 full time staff plus anything up to 10 casuals.
